You know, I came to you because of TTB. I can't remember now just how I discovered it... it's possible I was looking for Xanthe's story, because I had read it before and lost the bookmark, but I remember how I felt when I found it. Because finding really good BDSM fic, original or fanfic, is so damn hard, and when I find someone who writes it well, and actually gets what it's about, and gets it right, I tend to hang on and read whatever they write!
I wonder sometimes why BDSM gets fandom so riled up. I mean, we're a pretty pervy bunch anyway, right? So why BDSM? Especially the well-written stuff where the writer either knows what they're talking about or has actually done research. I can understand getting bent out of shape over some of the crap out there where someone who has no clue has written a "slap a collar on 'em, beat the crap out of 'em, and rape 'em till they pass out" story, because that's not BDSM, that's torture and a crime.
And I will freely admit, I find the TTB universe seductive, and I have written drabbles, trying to get a feel for it, though nothing I've posted. Because I totally get the inability to write after a hard-drive crash. I'm still trying to work my own way past that, and it sucks.
And your Sentinal/SGA fusion is totally addictive!! I can't wait for more, but I will because I'm patient like that. Hell, Keira, I love everything you write, and if I had a way to get my greedy little hands on your professional work, I would!! It's entirely possible I already have and just don't know it.
And why are people bothered by Andy? Seriously??? Is it a requirement to like every single character you read??? I mean... one doesn't like every single person one meets in real life, do they? So... why complain about a character they don't like? It's called plot development and moving the story along and building a well-rounded, believable universe!!
Okay, that's it, I need more caffeine before I'm allowed to write any more. Auntie's getting testy! I utterly adore you, and will wait patiently for the next installment of whatever you decide to bestow upon us with your great beneficence!
