Hmm, I read this and thought I am not familiar with the movie Mike Banning is from, I loved it. His attitude and protectiveness seemed awesome right at a time in his life when Tony needed it. :D I adore Tony, (along with my Rodney love) geniuses that have trouble coping but nevertheless care, and save the day, are an absolute favorite of mine. Thanks for this, I really appreciate the high of great fic right now, you can probably imagine. I feel like you really don't get enough credit. My Mom and I were watching something and the characters didn't appreciate each other's jobs until they had to switch for a day. When you are really skilled at something, you make it look it easy.
