Mother hip-checked a 16 year old girl for a pair of sandals. Shoe sales + my mother = Very Entertaining.

I bought the following shoes:

By Yellow Box Raegan Flip Flop

Grasshoppers - Sunrise Navy Sandal

Liz Claiborne Flex Kip

Have vowed to buy no more shoes this summer.

I agree, the purse and shoe maniacs are a breed all there own. i think there could be great entertainment with a reality show that follows women who purse and shoe shop. I confess that I like the novels about Betsy the Vampire Queen because her shoe fetish makes me laugh.

I own 2 pairs of sandals, one for the garden, one for everyday. I own two pairs of clogs, both about 4 years old and getting ratty. I own a fairly decent pair of walking shoes. I own a pair of suede loafers. I own a pair of steel-toed work boots. That is it. And it is the most shoes I've ever own in my life.

I am a freak.

i know the feeling on the shoes for women with bigger feet. depending on the cut of the shoe, i wear from an 11 to a 13. its damn hard to find cute shoes for those sizes. although Kiera's post gives me great hope at going to shoe carnival now. i never considered them before for any shoe.

I've bought three pairs of shoes from Shoe Carnival... the first was tennis shoes for work... they last a week..

the second was a pair of hiking boots...which I still have...

the third was a pair of shoes fro a wedding.. I don't wear heels at all... I have a bad ankle, from which I've had surgery on... so the closer I am to the ground the happier I am..LOL! BUT my feet are also wide... so its harder to find something comfortable... the sandals I bought... were just enough to wear that night.. and only that night.

I have never heard of this store. Did you buy these shoes at an outlet mall? I live near a large premium outlet mall and mostly forget it's there. i rarely think to go shopping there, so much so that I am in need of some serious shoe shopping and was surprised to find that one of my favorite sandal makers, Clarks, has a store there. and i have never been. *facepalm*

feels weird that I have never heard of this store if its a chain. i am surrounded by malls, outlet and the other kind. In fact, in my state the number one tourist attraction is an outlet mall. or at least it use to be. and no, i don't live near the Mall of America.

i just peeked at their store listings. and OMG, there a lot! But oddly they stop just south of me, so I guess that's why I have never heard of them. Looking at their website, their prices seem pretty good. Right now I have been eying this shoe online

Ahhhh, handbags and shoes, the only part of a girl's wardrobe where size matters not. Must be why I have so many pairs. That's my excuse anyway.

The liz claiborns are my favorite...

I'm a total shoe and purse whore... I'm running out of shoe storage (naturally I'll be buying new shoe cubbys rather then not buying shoes or getting rid of the ones I have). I

I started buying miche purses (the ones where you buy the inside bag and just buy outside "shells" that you slide them into). Perfect for lazy purse whores who can't be bothered to actually clean out there purses.

shoes beautiful shoes

Oooooh very nice shoes. I am not a shoe or purse hussy (same handbag and purse for the last 11 years and I only own about 6 pairs of shoes)But I do appreciate a nice pair of shoes on others feet.

I once spent two days (out of a four days vacation) going through 6 very similar shoestores in central London with my mum. She wanted a very special shoe and yes, she got it. We use to joke about her being a card-carrying member of the Imelda Marcos fanclub. (Um - when it comes to shoe-fetishism, that is. My mum is the most fanatic pro-democracy I know.)

Shopping with mum is awesome.

My favourite brand:

I wear almost nothing else (on my feet, that is.)

Those are really nice -- good color (I especially love the first one) and good proportions. So often these days shoes make you look like you have concrete blocks on your feet.

I bought a pair of Manolos on eBay (no way could I have paid original price!), and they're so gorgeous that I don't even want to wear them. I did go out in them once and was amazed that I could actually wear a 3.5" heel for several hours. The tops are pretty delicate, though, so I'm seriously considering putting them in a shadow box on the wall as a work of art. Does that make me a shoe zealot? ;^)
