Do you happen to know the time line for SG-1 and Atlantis and how they match up? I'm researching for a story I desperately need to get out of my head before the plot bunnies decide to rebel and take over my body.I'm starting to think even the writers of the Atlantis don't really know since I've been re-watching some episodes to figure it out. I would be so grateful for the help.

Well -- we know a few things.

Jack was leaving the SGC and Elizabeth Weir was in charge (briefly) when they found the Ancient outpost to defeat Anubis who was in orbit. We also know that the Prometheus made an aborted attempt to reach Atlantis during the year they were out of contact (Vala stole the ship and took Daniel hostage) so knowing that-- if we find the episodes we can meld them at that point--- and then again when they use a blackhole in Pegasus to stop the Ori from using a supergate. Other than that-- the series don't really converge often and really don't mesh well.

So, so, I adore all your Might Have Been universe (on reread #4!) and your recent Sentinel epic, but the point of this comment is not how awesome your writing is (though it IS incredibly awesome). Rather, since you write such awesome military fic, I thought I might rec you a fandom that's been growing lately. You might already have heard of this, but Generation Kill if gaining momentum! hackthis, tevere, and dark_reaction have already written some drool-worth fic! And they have some more recs on their journals too. ;D
