Sentinels of Atlantis

keiramarcosRead all of my episodes for Sentinels of Atlantis today. I'm really proud of the depth of the series. I figure my favorite episode is without a doubt The Queen.

The Search
John is drawn to explore an off-world facilty but Rodney is concerned by the impact the facility has on his Sentinel. Blair Sandburg and James Ellison take David Sheppard into the jungles of South America in search of the Temple of the Sentinels. Matt Sheppard and Chase Harris hitch a ride on a submarine to the Ross Sea in search of what appears to be another Ancient outpost. Sam and Daniel sneak into Egypt to search for a hidden tomb. Jack and Patrick take a trip to Great Britian. Anne and Allison step through the gate to a planet on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy and finds something rather unexpected.

I love the moment Rodney really understands what he's done and where John goes a bit feral in The Shield.
I love Wier and John and the Genii negotiating in The Alliance.
I love John's joy at guns and a ship and the glimpse at Sateda in The Return.
I love John's feral run through the city in The Legacy.
I love Rodney setting John on the Genii and Cowan's realization in The Spirit.
But overall I have to give it to The Tempest just because that's the moment where the fic story arc just exploded all of a sudden from this (awsome) retelling of Season 1 into this huge universe of possibilities with the Sheppard Family and Jack and the Prides on Earth *in addition* to the awesome of John's Pride.
I can't wait to see what happens next to your extended Sentinel families on Earth and Atlantis.

The moment John found Vala, I was sitting at my computer in tears and at that moment you became my favorite fanfic author. Ever.

Jack (usually my least favorite character outside of a Jack/Daniel ship) has evolved into this great patriarch. And Patrick, ooh, so delicious a pairing. The mental image is just explosive but damn, you've made them emotional impactful - so complimentary of each other. And I've never liked Daniel/Sam but, wow, they work here. They just .. flow together.
And Anne and Allison have obviously always been in the SG universe - we the viewer have just never gotten to see their eps as they've been part of SG-46 or something. They fit so well. Every SGA story is not complete without them. I look for them in every author's stories and wonder where they are.
Radek/Parrish is my surprise couple. I'm always thrilled to see them, am fascinated about their relationship. Radek has become the great badass, just love it! You've the only author I've read who understood that given his age and country of birth, Radek was in the military at some point. So smart!
I absolutely love, love, love Simon/Elizabeth and I don't read het. But they are developing into this Jack/Patrick of Pegasus Galaxy. Such a tight couple, so incredibly supportive, they work together so well. Damn, Elizabeth took to this Alpha Sentinel thing with rollerblades. Love her defense of her man. Love that Simon is a bit clueless about how attractive he is.
Surprisingly, Bates and Graham are the hottest couple in my mind right now. My monitor just steams when they are on it. And Tyre/Grodin .. ah, so young.
Miko is my hero!!! - can't wait until Miko meets David Sheppard. Just can't wait... shivers. And you've got me hooked on a kidfic. Wtf? I never read kidfics. But Andy is so cute .. and the possibilities are just endless. The Spirit animals -ahh!
I must admit, until the last few episodes, Marcus & Bastian really just confused me. Pretty, pretty, eye candy but still .. but now the plot thickens. Lovely!
So, yes, please, please, please, go write my favorite family. If you hit a problem, I will gladly bribe you with chocolate covered coffee beans. Want some candy, little girl???

The whole plans for protecting Cam and Rodney saying 'you've just made me your enemy' to the head of the councel.
When he and John walk into the Center and all movement stops as everyone realizes just what John and Rodney are.
The S&R for Vala.
Elizabeth coming on line and Simon's love for her. Finding out she practically chased him down in the airport when they first met.
Miko's team's protection of her and the fact that she fought so hard to be able to take care of herself after seeing the result of an off world rape while at SGC. That she knows she will be avenged if anything ever does happen. Her strength in fighting off the Wraith Queen. And the fact that most Guides come on line to help their Sentinels but it seems like David came on line because of Miko's needs.
I do admit my favorite pair after John/Rodney are Jack/Patrick. You wrote such a wonderful storyline for them. They fought so hard against it and yet their relationship is so strong that there was no way they could avoid it and really didn't want to avoid it.
I am looking forward to Matt and Chase getting together. They are wonderful.
Looking forward to whatever you write.

Now if you were to ask me what my favorites were of all of your work, that I might have an answer for, although it wouldn't be just one series.
