You know, even though I lurk all over Ties That Bind and love it to bits, I never intended to read WMHB. The premise didn't catch me when I first saw it. And the Sentinels of Atlantis, nope, not my thing. I've never read / watched anything related to the Sentinel fandom so I didn't think I'd enjoy it. And Star Trek, certainly not! I've always loathed Jim Kirk from the original series, which bled over to the new movie, so nope. No Star Trek.

Except…. When I'd go to look for TTB updates on your site there would be these new posts and your writing was so good that eh, I suppose I can check Tangled Destinies out.

And it was so good.

Then it was SOA, which sucked me right in without my needing any background at all. After that I had to copy all of WMHB to my Kindle so I could read the whole thing in order instead of by bits and pieces. I'm still planning on going back and reading everything you've written, including The Awakening and the Dark Places in the Soul series.

I strongly suspect that it doesn't matter what you write. I'm going to love it. I'll love it madly and passionately in spite of myself, in spite of what I presume my tastes in reading are, in spite of what logic and common sense say to me.

So thank you for TTB, which sucked me in and for all your other stories. I hope that you keep writing and sharing your epics because they make me very happy and inspire me to keep working on my own fics, no matter what anyone else thinks of them.

And now I'll go back to lurking, as I'm terrible at commenting consistently. ;)

loved the newest chapter! this series is fun. I'm usually an Atlantis girl, but you've seduced me to the Trek side. ;)

love how you've gone all matchmaker and have set up all Jim & Spock's friends with their own loves. very cute! and love all the Vulcan shenanigans. Hee! you've managed to make Vulcans amusing!

Just caught up on the story and LOVE the exploration of Betazoid!Jim. I've been rewatching TNG a lot lately, so now I have something to go off of, and the exciting clash of Vulcan/Betazoid cultures is really so much FUN to read. I will now go off and dream about Jim and Spock having a proper Betazoid wedding - and by proper I mean everyone in the nude. :)
