Maybe because you publish? I have wondered what name you write under, as I love your fanfic (that said, I've never done that Google search). I've vaguely thought about flipping through books at the store to see if I recognize your writing style anywhere, but I have been too lazy :)
I would love to read some of your romance novels but respect your wish to keep your fannish life and your professional one strictly separate. I do the same.
I've been tempted because of the books too, but, and you can pick which one you like best a - I'm too lazy, b - I knew I wouldn't find you anymore than someone could find me.
I did the search yesterday after I saw the post. Like Google would be able to tell us who Keira really is. I was curious to find out articles would show up. Fifty Shades. Is it Kindle's fault was one of the first articles I saw. (Couldn't read it when it was fanfic.) Disturbing was finding a link to an article on Zahara Baker. And I was surprised to learn Imelda Marcos was still alive.
Well, I've often wanted to read the books you publish, especially after you wrote aint no other man (or sth very similar) a few Nano's ago and then took it down and said you were gonna publish it later. But Ive never actually googled for your real name, cause you do deserve some privacy and I adore your sarcasm and sassyness way too much! :)
This. I'd love to be able to read your published books. But I respect you and your wish to keep those things separate too much to try and find out your real name or your penname if you publish under one too. Hell for all I know I could have stumbled across your real work already and as I assume you sacrifice some snark for the style of books I mightnever know
