What an awesome novel. How much do I love that Sebastian is being tutored by the best minds in Atlantis, including his poetry and creative writing teacher Ronon? Who steals his Percy Jackson books? <3 And worries about teaching him to protect himself. <3 <3 <3

And I love how John uses Avery's nuzzling to get Seb to get a haircut, heh. Avery is an awesome character and I'm jealous I can't have a 2 lb empathic penguin to comfort me when everything goes to shit (which it is right now).

Beckett is creepy in canon (his ignorance of basic human rights) so I'm glad you nailed him for that, and I loved your solution for getting rid of him.

I love Patrick Sheppard making war on the Trust and anyone who threatens his family. It fills me with the warm fuzzies.

I loved that Rodney was so protective of Sebastian's intellectual rights, and McKay Day sounds like so much fun. I wish I could be a fly on the wall.

And I just really enjoyed seeing what a great and supportive father John was, up to and including bringing in Sebastian's other step-father in. Just really nicely done.

I want to add a couple of scene early on with Avery and Sebastian. Then beta/edit. So probably by the end of June. I'd certainly like to finish and get it posted before the next RT.
