Rough Trade April - 2022

I have two projects this month, but I'm uncertain if I will to both. My zero draft for Fireborn looks to be about 50kish. Who knows? I'm not going to stress myself out by trying to shove it all in a box.

I have Fireborn which is a Harry Potter story featuring two original main characters. Just go with it-it won't hurt you too much.

Summary:

Razel Fireborn, only son of Chieftain Ragnok Windrider, has never had any interest in taking a mate. Politics and social mores demand a certain standard of behavior from him, and the choices he makes have the potential to impact his people far into the future. In the midst of the most important magical endeavor his people have ever undertaken, he meets a dverger that catches his interest, which is annoying because he doesn't have time for that kind of thing.

My second project is a 9-1-1 fusion with a ghost/paranormal investigation show called Dead Files titled Intangible. Evan Buckley is a medium. I'm deeply amused by my plot.

Summary:

Evan Buckley, a popular medium on the Beyond Channel, needs a new cameraman. He's always needing a new cameraman because shit gets too real and no amount of advanced warning seems to help. Bobby Nash, the producer of the show, decides try things from a different angle and Eddie Diaz, formerly of the US Army, is his solution.

I've already posted chapter 1 for Fireborn so it was my go-to for the first story. Though, honestly, my plot for the second is short and I probalby should've done it first ;-)

OMG! I just read Fireborn! It is Amazing! Laughs, it was delightful in every respect. I love that Razel is Durin Reborn! I also love seeing the name Razel from Small Magic and am trying to figure out if they are the same character? I saw the Hobbit crossover tag, so does this mean that Area Durin Reborn isn't coming? Are they the same person? Is it going to be one of Thorin's kids? Are there two of them? Grins widely. The whole notion is making me giggle delightedly. I love, love both of these fics so even a casual call back makes my heart sing! Thank You! The character building here is as amazing as everything else in this fic. Happy Laugh. Just Delightful. It's in my author notes on the project file. It is the same character but the circumstances/world are different. This is a fusion, not a crossover so that matters.

Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't getting it, rolls eyes at self. It doesn't change my opinion at all. I am amazed at your character building ability. I just read part 3. I was captured by the romance, and while stilling oohing over the magic details. :D. Happy Sigh.

Yep, read part 4. Amazing. I love Razel having to deal with the Ex even though he doesn't want to... here's hoping he gets tossed on his butt. Tyr's family is adorable, supportive, and hilarious. :D. I love this story. Grins, thanks for writing this.

Hi, just read chapter 7. The mixture of gravitas, and humor, the romance, and the tragedy are a heady combination. This fic is as engrossing as most of your fic is, and I very much appreciate reading it. ;D. Awesome fic.
