You are an awesome writer and I love all your work. I love the way you write the characters because when you write them it makes it seem ENTIRELY plausible that what happens in your fics could have happened in the actual show (or book if you're talking about Harry Potter). They porn you write is so well done, that some times (only some times; I may be 18, a virgin, and still somewhat innocent, but I'm not that innocent) I have to skip over it because I feel like I'm a voyeur (I then go back and read it anyway). And let's not forget about your plots. They are so amazing, so well thought out, and so well done, it blows my mind. Keep up the good work!

This is a wonderful idea! March 15th is an easy date to remember...we could make it a yearly event. Not quite as much fun as "Evil Author Day", I'm afraid...but cool none the less.

I'm already half way through my 10, and I saved you for #5, since its my favorite number.

Thank you so much for hours and hours of excellent reading, always giving me something to look forward to in the WIP list, and an LJ that's a blast read all by itself. I converted a number of friends to your fic by reading snippets of your LJ out loud. More than once its been commented that "Oh my gosh, if her LJ postings are that amusing, her fic has got to be cool!" I converted my husband to slash by reading "What Might Have Been" to him out loud. (he kept muttering..."Oh my god...that's...really hot!")

Don't ever doubt that what you do is worthwhile. A little joy, such as seeing an update on a favorite story, goes along way in brightening people's lives.

I've been on a 5-things bender lately (it's a guilty pleasure) so in that theme:

Five Reasons I Think Keira is Awesome
1. Your world-building rocks. The depth and the details of the series you write are fantastic. That you can build multiple worlds simultaneously is incredible.

2. You are fearless in your writing, and I suspect in your life. The easy example is TTB. There are some passages that will stay with me for a long time.

3. You're straightforward about what you do and do not want in return. If you don't have something good to say, keep it to yourself. I still don't understand how people don't get that - it's crystal clear.

4. You make "bitch" something to aspire to. More of us should do that.

5. You have the ability to draw people into new fandoms. You've dragged me into Sentinel and now Sherlock, and I've never seen either show.
