I'm Good

I have no power, limited Internet access, and a foul mood but I'm safe and thankfully suffered no losses in my family. I'm busy coordinating supplies for some of my more elderly relatives and making sure they have fresh water and food that will be safe to eat.

It's a MESS in my area.

They THINK we might get power back on Monday but I'm not all that hopeful on that issue.

I haven't heard from everyone but I did check around addresses on my phone and none of them live in areas that suffered major damages.

Glad to hear you and yours are fine. The pictures from the area are sad and devastating. Hearing that one tornado traveled 374 miles on the ground. Just so scary. Hope the rebuilding goes fas.

Glad you and yours are okay. For your elderly relatives, double check where they stand with their meds. In the aftermath it's easy for stuff to be forgotten. It can also be difficult to go and get refills if the streets are a mess.

That's good news. We've become so plugged in over the last decade or two that internet access is right up there with food, clothes & shelter. I can't imagine even coordinating things like that without email. Take it one day at a time.

Relieved to hear that. We had ONE town hit like that in our area 2 years ago. Just seeing the pictures right now is enough to make me sick to my stomach. God, I can still smell it if that makes sense. Take care and please be safe. People up here got hurt during the clean-up because they were pretty much numb. Never anything serious but. Good luck.
