Date: 2009-04-23 01:50 pm (UTC)I've just discovered your stories recently and have been reading and rereading them. I have a Keira folder in my Atlantis fanfic and there are only a few authors that rate a separate folder. You have invented au universes that stand on their own and yet you manage to weave in wonderful small bits from the canon universe (example: Simon W. in the Sentinel Atlantis stories. I can't wait to see where things go from here in any of your stories.
I regret that the flack you are getting from others. They should remember that no one is forcing them to read this. If they find the minor errors too distressing perhaps they should consider the work involved in writing, editing and postings stories or just go find something perfect to read. The errors are just that minor and do not interfere with the flow of the story.
Your characterizations are marvelous. The people are so alive and individual. Even minor characters are distinct entities not cardbord cutout placeholders. I think this is your greatest strength.
The universe you have created is great and would be spellbinding by itself
but your characters are so fully drawn and the conversations and actions so right for them that it makes your stories Must Read. The only series I can think of that has characters as well done as yours is The World According to Rover by Orithian and Rina.
