AWESOME.

I was planning to ask if I could do the same thing, but now that someone else is tackling it, I'm gonna sit back and enjoy the show. XD

They are uploading the entire 852 Prospect archive so I'm wondering if that may be why things are kind of mucked up there right now.

At first I was a little hesitant about reading someone else playing in the sand box but I'm am so glad you recced it because it was great :D and you can really tell that you were part of the process which made it even more believable being part of the universe instead of just being inspired by it.

Thanks :D

Maybe if you bat your eyelashes at Keira a little more jade. *laughs*

I like Morgan/Reid, but I'm also partial to Morgan/Garcia. Also if Keira decided to write a Morgan/Garcia/Reid threesome I'd be beyond giddy. *futters eyelashes*

Morgan/Garcia/Reid is my OT3. I love it and I honestly don't go for threesomes very often.

I don't really like Hotch/Reid much because the way its written often seems kind of dubious to me, but I'm sure Keira could get me to like it. She has magic skills like that.

If you are doing a Criminal Minds insert in the TTB 'verse, can I beg you to consider making the pairing Hotch/Reid?

Please?

I think your reccing has brought down AO3! All your minions go off to read it at once and the site can't handle it.

Two questions. Was your criminal minds OTP Hotch/Reid or morgan/Garcia/Reid? And two, NOT to be a pushy fan but any ETA on the next TTB? Your evil author update said April and I know you broke your foot so I get why it wasn't April but it's June now so?? Inquiring minds want to know! :)BTW, how is your foot healing? I have diabetes too so I know how much of a bitch the slow healing can be.

Oh and YAY to Criminal Minds in TTB. I recently started reading alot of that fandom. So I'm salivating. Now find a reason to put in some Sherlock BBC and it will be time for early fireworks. (Not a suggestion, just a wish. Know how you hate suggestions.)

Oh sorry to hear that. (about your health. writing obviously can wait). Congrats on the air cast coming off but 2 yrs? Did you ever have a bone density scan done? (Osteoporosis from whatever the source does have some treatments these days). I remember you saying you had bad asthma. If you ever took steroids for it, that can leach calcium from your bones too. I heal slowly from everything as well (I had laproscopic knee surgery which most people are walking around fine from in 3-5 days and it took me almost 4 months and I was on crutches the whole time. At 4 months I finally switched to a cane and it took like 3 more months till the knee finally stopped feeling "raw" inside. I've also rupture my achilles tendon which took 8 months instead of 3 to heal, a year for it to be normal, just to mention a few examples), but didn't you just break a few small bones near the pinky toe? 2 years seems pretty excessive unless something else is wrong. Is your diabetes under good control? (like A1C's under 6 or 7?) Or maybe they need to put some sort of internal fixation in it? There's one more thing I just looked on the internet to confirm that this might help. It's called hyperbarics. Usually it's used to help non healing ulcers on the skin (especially in diabetics). I had a friend who had three non healing ulcers for 2.5years despite standard treatment and 2 hospitalizations for infections, and in a less than two months the ulcers were completely closed with a series of hyperbaric treatments. What I had to check was if it was effective with bone healing, but I saw a number of articles that said it was. Lastly, I'm not knocking your doctor, but I've been through more than 10 severe health crisis between myself, close family and close friends, which involved, no joke, more than 150 doctors, and i've found that not even the best drs are always aware of, or up to date on the latest advances. So you might want to try to find a second opinion. Thin and brittle bones even in a diabetic can be treated more agressively than just wait and see for 2 years. Good luck.

I understand your hesitation re:the insulin, but I gave in and went to insulin shots about 6 years ago and I actually find it much easier than the pills. That may be due to a quirk I have where almost no time released meds work in any consistent or really predictable way. I was on the pills for like 12 years and then between the inconsistency and then I started getting some pancreatitis like symptoms - bs of 450+ which wouldn't respond to medication and shooting pains in the middle of my diaphram - so i broke down and made the switch. After the initial trial and error period and as long as you get the extra fine needles, the injections are almost painless. And it's much easier to adjust for fluctuations. I keep really, really tight control (not losing a foot or going blind due to my own laziness) so your mileage may vary, but my A1C's haven't been above 5.8 in 3 years (6< is considered nondiabetic). And that's even with having to take oral steroids for my asthma 3-4 times a year. And while I still heal more slowly than others, I have an actual chance of getting better before I die now. :)

The moral of my sadly long tale is insulin isn't the death sentence you think it is. Sometimes it's exactly what you need.

I'm very glad to hear you and your doctor are engaging in some extra treatments. The bone stimulating machine sounds intriguing. I'm assuming it sends out small electrical pulses. Have to go look that up. Due to my overwhelming number of brushes with the medical profession, I've developed a bit of morbid curiosity about things like that. Oh and I'm a bit apologetic about going off on a rant in my last post. You just have no idea how many people I run into who are absolute IdiotS when it comes to their own healthcare. I had a friend who saw a dr regularly over a year even AFTER she found out he was not licensed to prescribe medications in our state! Slaps her head metaphorically (again) because let's face it. Being that stupid should hurt! Just the 2 yr thing sounded egregious and I have an almost pavolvian response when I hear stuff like that. Even otherwise intelligent people really seem to think drs are like gods.

I totally understand about the surgery. Not just the infection risk but you have to worry about healing the incision site as well.

Just remember, yes the last one took 21 months but it was a much bigger bone. As long as you can walk without pain it's good. But for god sake's, watch where you're going! :)
