Rush Limbaugh -- this is pretty self-explanatory. He's such an asshat. I don't know what makes him more unattractive -- his rabid ignorance OR his inherently foolish anti-human politics.

Newt Gingrich -- Because he's a Republican mouth piece and I'd have to be the one smoking crack to take him remotely seriously. There is talk that he might run for President. If by some twist of fate he were to be elected--I would immediately begin polling my minions to see which of your fine countries I should seek political asylum in.

Bonnie Hammer -- I've thought this since she was instrumental in the cancellation of Farscape and let's not even go into how she fucked up the SciFi channel before she went on to bigger things like fucking up all of NBC Universal Cable. Jesus H. Christ on a Stick. This woman sucks a fat donkey dick. I blame her specifically for the pro-wrestling that SyFy currently broadcasts. (It could be said that I'm still slightly bitter over the cancellation of Farscape).

Brad Wright -- because I blame him ( no matter how some might think this is unfair) for the clusterfuck that is currently the Stargate franchise. He was part of the creation of Stargate Universe and tried to court an audience that simply wasn't interested while alienating the audience he already had with the other 2 series. Well, frankly, Brad -- you can kiss my ass.

Satoshi Kanazawa  -- I admit freely that until today I didn't know this mother fucker even existed but now that I do know... I felt compelled to go read about all of his bullshit. This man is a living, breathing, walking blackhole of immense stupid. His bigotry is so ingrained that I'd hazard a guess and say he was just BORN EVIL. That's right folks, my once dearly held theory that Rush Limbaugh was the anti-Christ has been laid to waste by the mere existence of Satoshi Kanazawa. Evidence: Exhibit One, Exhibit Two

Well. Can't say as I blame you for these comments. I mean, damn!

Also, you need to add a #6. The female you dealt with today on account of her being a bigot who is trying to spread her insanity.

Bonnie Hammer - YES! Massive hate. (I agree with the others as well, but that one there has the blunt of my hatred.)

Satoshi Kanazawa - do not know who this is, but I can't wait to find out! Off to read!

I miss Stargate :(
I hope they do a reboot or spin off soon, but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

Re: Farscape - I've watched the first eleven episodes and now hate almost all the characters, Crichton and Aeryn somewhat excepted. Do I keep watching?

I will keep watching and see what happens :)

I was just really mad at the way they treated pilot.

I agree with you on all points... (and hence my very appropriate icon, lol) except may I just add that if Michele Bachmann runs in any way shape or form, the crazy stupid factor will definitely be raised. *nods* Yes. I feel my IQ dropping steadily already at every suggestion that she might carry Iowa during the primary.

And, oh yeah, don't forget the "Google troubles" of Rick Santorum that cracks me up every time it's vaguely referenced... Point 111 to Dan Savage and his blogging minions. Not to mention this gem of idiocy on his part.

And I am beyond pissed about the Stargate franchise. Seriously. Seriously? *sighs* It's so amazingly disappointing.

Don't plan on coming here for political refuge - we just re-elected a Prime Minister who had been found in contempt of Parliament.

Most assuredly agree about the stupidity of all 5.
Brad Wright is one of the few people I'd happily lecture about making foolish choices in teh franchise, without taking into account the opinons of critcs and actual fans.
I couldn't stand SGU, and will happily tell mr Wright everything he did wrong.

Rush Limbaugh: Another Jerk! Asshat that should not be allowed to procreate! Because stupid is hereditary!

Newt Gingrich: That MF! Asshat that should not be allowed to procreate! Because stupid is hereditary!

Bonnie Hammer: Hate her so much I hope her next job is in hell! Asshat that should not be allowed to procreate! Because stupid is hereditary!

Brad Wright: Asshat (he's a jerk and always will be a jerk!) that should not be allowed to procreate or write and produce any more TV shows or movies! Because stupid is hereditary! He killed the Stargate Franchise!

Satoshi Kanazawa: Asshat that should not be allowed to procreate! Because stupid is hereditary! Does anyone take him seriously? Never heard about and don't like what I read!

And all I have to say about Brad Wright is: Preach it sister!

These two need their photos in the dictionary for the definition of Asshat.

Followed your links about Kanazawa; blinked; read again; followed the links to his bio; wondered what Rodney McKay would a) say to someone like that having a degree and having his BS published and b) what he would do if he got Kanazawa assigned to Atlantis.

If the Wraith were real you might have just found the perfect way to kill them by poison: feed those 5 to them and watch them wither and die of stupid.

wow, hearing these comments kinda makes me glad that i didn't start watching SGU, and that i've also kinda put off watching the ends of both SG1 and SGA for a bit even though i have the dvd's sitting right behind me taunting me. part of me wants to go watch them to see how bad they did so i can then say something to all those writers, but part of me is like "Naaawwww!"

You have made my day. We all know that Rush is really on crack, or something, cause he did get arrested for some drug usage, flaming hypocrite that he is...

But I have to disagree about Newt; the fact that he is running for President makes it easier for me to justify to my mother why I am planning to vote for Obama. I mean, didn't Newt leave his first wife while she was fighting breast cancer?

I'm a bit older than you so I have to say, moving away will not help. Always stay to fight another day.

TV things, oh well...

But this last dude, wow. And to think he gets paid to write this sort of stuff.

Don't let the anger rule! Peace!

You know the sad thing? Gingrich is one of the more sane contenders for the Republican nomination. There's still Palin, Bachman, Ron Paul and Santorum still in the ring.

Satoshi Kanazawa - what can I say other than this guy must have stood in line twice when they were handing out stupidity.

Thank the gods that The Donald dropped out of the race. I'm telling ya, I had plans to move to Canada if he was elected. And the guy is a billionaire - why the hell can't he spend the money on a decent haircut?

Oh, and last night was the season finale of NCIS, as many of you know. Fifteen minutes into the show, the local CBS affiliate interrupts the program to let us know about a tornado warning. OK, I understand that, but what pissed me and a large majority of Pennsylvania viewers was:

1. A cop in Maryland saw what he thought was a funnel cloud. The location was at least 100 miles away from where I live. As far as I know there never was a tornado.

2. The warning was issued for counties west of Gettysburg. They kept showing the same storm cells, repeating the same instructions, etc. They could have put a banner at the bottom of the screen, but nooo, they felt it was their duty to stay on the air (they said this several times so I guess people were calling and screaming at them).

3.Then, they terminated the weather report at 9PM! I kid you not. My BFF and I were so pissed we emailed a letter to the station. BFF included stuff like "backwater hick station" and didn't they think that most people were hiding in their basements after the first announcement?

4. Their FB page was inundated with people screaming and bitching a blue streak. BFF & I amused ourselves for quite awhile reading the comments. Some of the comments were pretty damn funny.

5. But the best part is, they had to take their FB page down. Their website offered a lame assed apology. The weenies.

6. And yes, I was able to watch the entire episode On Demand this morning, but it just wasn't the same.

I did enough swearing last night to make Keira proud.

Rush'n'Newt: The Big Gay Love Affair that was Always Meant To Be.

Or, at least, I keep hoping the underage male hookers will wise up and call a news station after making gratuitous use of their cameraphones.

Satoshi Kanazawa: What the fucking fuckity-fuck? That's a galaxy of stupid, right there. Billions of little stupid planets circling a flaming mass of idiocy with a black hole of imbecilitycy at the dark and bitter core. I bet satellites pass over him and go 'WTF?' as their sensors are overwhelmed by highly radioactive mor-ons.

I now have a whole new perspective on the co-worker that decided to spend all her saved up stupid last week, apparently deciding it was Super-Cupon days at the Moron Market. She's positively brilliant and tolerable compared to Mr. Kanazawa.

My job here is done! :)

(Also, I apparently can't spell. Alas.)

More seriously, how the fuck do people like Kanazawa breathe without respirators? The man's got no higher brain function and I can't believe that his autonomic responses are enough to keep his heart beating and his lungs pumping -- after all, they're caught up in spewing bullshit from one end and bile from the other.

The universe is filled with amazing curiosities.

If it makes you feel any better, most of us in the "biz" consider Satoshi Kanazawa about as relevant to the field as Andrew Wakefield was to medical research. There will always be those who listen, but the majority of those who are actually capable of rational thought dismiss him as pond scum.

I understand how you feel about Bonnie Hammer. It is exactly how I feel about Russell T. Davies, who created all the wonderful characters on Torchwood and then killed most of them. As I have said, it was as if at the end of the second season of Buffy, Joss Whedon killed off Xander and Giles and then at the end of season three, killed off everyone but Buffy and Cordelia. There might be a fourth season, but who cares?

I was reading your Human Nature today (very good) and was thinking that I have watched a few episodes of SGA and found it enjoyable and can understand why people like it so much, but as with most such shows, the writers (under pressure from TPTB) have such limited imagination and yet are so willing to ignore established characterizations. I find the fan fiction for SGA is better. Oh, sure, Sturgeon's Law (90% of everything is crap) applies, but at least in fan fiction you are getting real stories, not watered-down, emasculated pablum that started out as real stories.

Oh, and Rush Limbaugh and the Newt? Slimeball con artists.

No argument here

I started reading the Wikipedia article on that last guy (whom I have never heard of, either) and thought "evolutionary psychologist? how can that be ev--?" then I got a paragraph in and knew. OMG.

I can't even talk about Limbaugh or Gingrich with a straight face, and the rest of them make me sad.
