in exchange for the disappearance of my headache. Normally, a migraine has a specific pattern to me so I want to say that I'm not experiencing one but I'm sensitive to light, sounds, and smells. I've had two nose bleeds today AND I feel like I could throw up at any moment. You're probably thinking, TMI, but dudes, I've said much worse on my journal and in my podcast. If you can listen to me talk about anal sex on my podcast, you can read about my fucking terrible headache from hell.

Regardless, I'm all whiny and shit because I can't listen to music on my headphones which is super important because it's a huge part of my writing process so I'm not writing. I've only got about 30k more plotted for my RT story and I've already posted 10k so I'll meet my goal for the month (surely) but it's annoying to be limited by a physical situation versus say a mental one where I'm just not in the mood to write.

So, I've been sitting here playing a stupid Facebook game and I read some intolerant bullshit today that made me pissy I had to take time out in the shower. Well, I didn't have to take a shower during my computer time out but it seemed like a good use of that time.

Headaches sorry that you're suffering. :( Here's hoping that it gives up the ghost sooner rather than later.

Not just murder. No, CHEERFUL murder.

I now picture you skipping around with a bloody axe singing the Smurfs theme song.

I am so sorry you are unwell, and I hope your evil headache migrates from you to plague five internet trolls of your choosing instead.

Being in too much pain to listen to music is like being too tired to sleep; insult on top of injury. Feel better, or at least less bad.

I can't even imagine a headache so bad I can't use my headphones; that's... cosmic level horribleness. Consider yourself (gently) hugged!

Please don't murder anyone. The minions could raise the bail bond, but possibly not as soon as you'd like.

I hope you feel better soon. I would cheerfully use a guillotine on myself whenever I get a sinus infection, which would solve the problem but not in a useful fashion. *hug*

I don't know if it would help any at all, but I also suffer severe migraines that come with sensitivity to light and sound. For me, I've found that a taking a back in warm or hot water with as many lights turned off as possible helps; the darkness helps with the light sensitivity, and putting your ears underwater helps with the sound sensitivity.

Aside from that, I've also had some success with massaging the back of my neck with tiger balm, as that can help with the blood flow issues that are often involved in a migraine.

Apart from the nosebleed it soubdd like textbook migraine. Combined with the nosebleeds i would check blood pressure just yp be sure. Mlxt migraines don't last over 72 hrs snx combined with the nosebleeds it could be high blood pressure.
Sorry i usually try to keep from thr have you tried this cure and from medical guesses.
But migraine is something I'm specifically acquainted with having suffered for yestd with debilitating ones where i couldn't even leave thd bed due to sound light and motion sensitivity sometimes so bad thst my own movement in bed would make me so sick I'd barf.
I've finally found good medication that almost always keeps them at bay as long as I take it while i can still control my stomach.
Before that the only thing to truly help was staying in a dark quiet room in bed, possibly taling a tiny edge ofg eoth a mixture of paracetamol and caffeine or naproxen and caffeine and sleep it off with a bucket next to the bed.
Now I found a drug that actually works. You cab buy a pack of two pills over rge counter over here but as far as I know they are prescription only in the US. Still, triptane could be something to think about. There are several different versions. Naratriptane is my go to but has tge draw back of needing to identify tge incoming migraine very early as it takes two to three hours for the full effect. On tge other hand it's about the gentlest on the body and the longest lasting effect. Others work faster but not as long or have more side effects. Three hours after taking Naratriptane the symptoms will be gone and from experience I'll be fit enough to be inbtge first row at a concert with no issues

I can commiserate. Headaches like that suck in the worst way and I'm so sorry you're dealing with one :-( Also can sympathize with the frustration of physical stuff making it where you can't write. I hope it passes soon, and not just because of the writing. Feeling like a human being (without wanting to cheerfully murder someone) is a good thing. *hugs*
